Description

A beautiful dioptase from Tsumeb, with top sharpness, colour and lustre.  The main crystal is 2.2 cm, and is associated with small balls of malachite. It has a wonderful internal play of light with the intense green, up at the termination. In excellent condition, no damage except a missing bottom tip of the dioptase. From the Pete Richards Collection, #2812, this is a superb thumbnail of Tsumeb’s signature species!
