This is a nice group of intergrown bournonite crystals. Steel grey, with a silky metallic lustre and the appearance of a subtle patina. There are incomplete crystals around the periphery where it was removed from the surrounding rock. This is a good specimen from a contemporary classic locality. Most surfaces on the underside/back of this […]

This specimen features sharp bournonite crystals with the large central intergrown “cogwheel” group measuring 3.5 cm. The steel grey crystals have a silky metallic lustre. In excellent condition – with magnification you can see a couple small nicks and otherwise just the contacts/points of attachment around the periphery. This is a nice classic bournonite miniature. […]

Very fine cluster of intergrown bournonite crystals to 2 cm. Nice combination of terminations and prism faces. The lustre is almost silky metallic, with the appearance of a subtle patina. In excellent condition – a couple small nicks (not distracting) and the some contacts/incomplete crystals on part of the periphery. Great little specimen. Most surfaces […]

This is a great cluster of steel-coloured bournonite crystals from the contemporary classic occurrence in Les Malines District, Saint-Laurent-le-Minier. The crystals mostly present edge-on, with prism faces being the most prominent on the piece. The largest crystal measures 2.5 cm. In excellent condition – there are a couple of small chips in non-distracting places and […]

This is a very nice cluster of pale blue barite crystals. The barite crystals are sharp, glassy and lustrous, and have a more tabular shape than some of the others – this one and 100478 came from a different pocket than the other ones.  The two most prominent terminations are water-clear. Most of the specimen […]

A good-sized cluster of pale blue barite crystals, this one prominently features the complex crystal edges that give the appearance of the beautiful “curved” crystals one sees with some of these specimens. The crystals are sharp and lustrous. In excellent condition – the main crystal aggregates have no damage, and otherwise there are a couple […]

This is a beautiful, perfectly-proportioned, radiating group of light blue barite crystals, with an almost flower-like appearance. The barite crystals are sharp, transparent, glassy and lustrous, and have a more tabular shape than some of the others – this one and 100480 came from a different pocket than the other ones. Remarkably, this specimen is […]

This specimen is comprised of beautiful clusters of light blue barite crystals perpendicular to one another. The barites are glassy, sharp and lustrous. In excellent overall condition – a bit of tip damage below the top, but can be displayed so that this is not distracting. Stands perfectly for display as photographed. Really nice, highly […]

This is a gorgeous specimen with beautiful sprays of lustrous, glassy pale blue barite crystals on matrix. In perfect condition as displayed (one tip missing if you examine from underneath). Truly outstanding.

This is a robust aggregate of sky-blue barite crystals, stacked and crossed in a way that they appear from one viewpoint to radiate from a central point. The blue colour of this one is particularly good and the crystals are sharp, glassy and lustrous. You can get lost in the forest of terminations from one […]

This is an excellent cluster of divergent, doubly-terminated light blue barite crystals. The crystals are transparent, sharp an highly lustrous.  In almost perfect condition – a couple of missing crystals but they are set down in the cluster, not at its “horizon” and so not distracting. A beautiful, highly-aesthetic specimen.

Dramatic cluster of clear, light blue glassy barite crystals. It is phenomenal – no damage to the display side. Only a couple of broken tips at the back of the specimen. This one would best be hand-delivered to a future show, rather than shipped. A spectacular barite.
